Constant

Mark 13:31 (NIV)

Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will never pass away.

People change their opinions and words all the time. Promises are broken, positions shift, mindsets are altered and we treat them as routine. Wouldn't it be nice to find a constant in this world? Although, the Lord spoke these words in the context of His judgment it's true that His words and promises are always constant. Christ and His promises are always constant and eternal. In an ever changing world He's the only constant who never changes and is always reliable. Amen
