A conservative, a liberal and an independent all died and went to heaven. At the pearly gates, St. Peter was taking stock of their lives. The conservative replied, "I cut taxes, lowered spending, boosted defense and security....". The liberal replied, "I raised the corporate tax, cut taxes taxes on the middle class....". When asked about his contributions the independent replied, "I undid what the other two did".
