Never abandoned

Psalm 44:9 (Berean Study Bible)

But you have rejected and humbled us. You no longer go forth with our armies.

After SCOTUS's decision to not hear the case brought forth by Texas, many believers may be wondering if there is any justice left. If we can't find justice in the highest court of the land, where else can we find justice? In Psalm 44:9, the psalmist was lamenting that God had abandoned Israel and that He no longer went out with them, and for no fault of their own. Texas and 75 million others were equally disappointed that SCOTUS didn't even hear their case. We need to understand that just as SCOTUS did not reject the merits of that case, God was not punishing Israel for it's sins at that time. Just as SCOTUS was unable to rule due to "standing" issues, God was using Israel's predicaments to strengthen and train them. Just as Texas had done no wrong, Israel committed no sin at that time either. A patient saint will always find justice both in this life and eternally. Yesterday's senate hearing on voter fraud was testament to that. God will never abandon the faithful.
