1 Samuel 3:4 (NASB)

Here I am

People travel thousands of miles to holy places searching for the Lord Jesus Christ when He calls them right where they are. A man doesn't need to climb Mt. Sinai to meet the Lord. A simple prayer of confession and faith exactly where he is is sufficient to have a personal encounter with God. Neither the Bible nor God is real to many because they never had a personal encounter with God. It is one thing for a man to believe the inerrancy of scripture, but it is a totally different thing for the person to meet God. That personal encounter and revelation makes those scriptures and his faith come alive. Otherwise the head knowledge may never be translated into a personal faith.
