Never forgotten

Psalm 137:6 (Berean Study Bible)

..if I do not remember you.

The greatest fear a man has is not of going to hell but not being remembered. We see that fear pervasive all across America today. There are those who do not want monuments and statues removed as they believe they are part of our cultural heritage. Then there are those who believe our history was so bad that it has to be rewritten. In both cases people are striving for significance and relevance. In such tumult isn't it reassuring to know that there is One who will never forget us? Amen.
