Prayer of the chastised

Psalm 118:17-18

I shall not die but live,

and proclaim what the Lord has done.

The Lord has chastened me severely,

but He has not given me over to death.

The Lord disciplines those He loves. God's discipline builds character and is not something to be taken lightly. God's discipline doesn't destroy a saint but makes one stronger in Christ. Amen.
