Quiet heart

Proverbs 15:28 (Berean Study Bible)

The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked blurts out evil.

Have you ever noticed how the people of this world are quick to talk and slow to listen? There's a certain group of people called "Diests" who say they believe in God yet to refuse to accept God's revelation in the historical Jesus of Nazareth. They say that they're not atheists or hateful, yet attack Christians at every opportunity they get. They claim believers are proud, yet attack the saints betraying their own pride and arrogance. They claim to be rational yet ignore the archeological evidence pointing to the birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. How do we believers respond to such arrogant, stupid and stubborn people? By letting them speak and condemn themselves in the process. A quiet and godly spirit has nothing to worry about.
