Revelation 7:9 (NIV)

...from every nation, tribe, people, and language...

The sin of rebellion divided and scattered humanity at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:6-8). It took the sacrifice of Christ and redemption in Him for the scattered flock to be reunited in holiness. Men today are trying to reunite themselves with pious platitudes of solidarity and brotherhood. Hitler tried to unite Germany and failed. Men have tried every conceivable idea under the heavens to stay united. But they all failed. The only thing that can unite the scattered flock is the cause of Christ, and the only One who can unite us is the Lord Jesus Christ.
