Safe

Proverbs 12:13 (Berean Study Bible)

But a righteous man escapes from trouble.

It's natural for us to seek shelter and hide from trouble. In fact only a fool looks for trouble (Prov 27:12). However, as Christians we have no business running away from our problems. As God's coworkers (1 Corinthians 3:9) and infantry (2 Timothy 2:3-4) we are always in harm's way. The thing about avoiding trouble is that we simply can't. While we are in the world we will have trouble, be it our own or our neighbor's (Philippians 2:4). The only safety from trouble is not avoiding it, but facing it in Christ (John 16:33). Only in Him are we truly safe.
