Again

Philippians 3:1 (NIV)

It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again.

Have you ever wondered why God tells us the same things again and again? When I was a young Christian, I used to find this annoying. Whenever the Lord reminded me, "I am," I used to get annoyed at the Holy Spirit. Yes, I know you're the great "I am." Why keep telling me again? Why keep bragging? But as I got older in the Lord, these timely reminders from the Holy Spirit became precious jewels. It's not that we forget the Lord, but that the cares of this world drown out His voice.

So the next time God tells you something again, don't brush Him aside:).
