Attitude

Ezekiel 24:13 (NIV)

...My wrath against you has subsided

Our attitude towards God and His relationship with us in Christ is determined by who we are. If we think God is mean and harsh, that's because of how we are on the inside. To the faithful, loving and pure, God is always holy (Psalm 18:25-26). A son would always rejoice in his father's chastening (Hebrews 12:7) because that's exactly God dealt with His only begotten Son (2 Samuel 7:14). Hardships and difficulties are part of the Christian life. Our attitude towards God in troubled times determines our standing in His kingdom.
