Eternally first

But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.

The world is full of go-getters. In this election we have witnessed one of the greatest thefts in human history. These people have only one goal, winning. They don't care how they win, as long as they win. They'll cheat, compromise, lie, rationalize and bribe their way to victory. Their goal is not to serve but to be served. Their objective is not to be faithful but to be first. They preach humanism and not love for humans. It's regarding such people and that mindset that the Lord repeatedly warned us about. Unlike these cut-throats, a saint's objective should be to be faithful and not first. If we surrender ourselves to the Lord, we'll always win and be first.
