Finish

Imagine how it feels to finish what we started. The world, and sadly, the Church, is full of serial entrepreneurs who embark on ambitious projects that never see the light of day. Many start, but few finish. The essence of Christianity is to reach heaven and enter God's Presence, not just to live a godly life on this planet.

A man who finishes what he started has that confidence and knows he did his job. Paul had that confidence. Another Man, Jesus of Nazareth, had that confidence (John 19:30). I pray we'll finish our races and have that same confidence in God's Presence.
