Freedom

Galatians 5:13 (NASB)

For you were called to freedom, brothers, and sisters.

What does freedom mean to us? Is it a means to pursue our dreams and goals? Do we cherish freedom because it liberates us from tyranny? Is freedom natural or just a state of mind?

Freedom may mean different things to different people. But is there a far greater purpose for freedom? Is it freedom from fear of death or hell? I believe that the most significant goal of freedom is to be free. The most excellent drive for freedom is to be able to choose and choose God.

Happy Independence Day, and God bless America.
