God "is"

Mark 14:62 (NASB)

"I am".

God Almighty is referred to by many names. But the Name that the Lord chose to be called is "I am". This clearly indicates that God is not part of this creation but the Creator who made everything from the outside and from nothing. He had always existed, is existing and will always exist. What's remarkable about either the Lord's proclamation from the burning bush or the confession of Christ before Pontius Pilate is that God never offers any explanation for who He is. We should accept the Lord of the Universe as the great "I am" .
