God's justice

Nehemiah 9:33 (Berean Study Bible)

You are just in all that has befallen us, because you have acted faithfully.

Most of us can't comprehend or accept God's justice. But, it is God's justice that makes Him loving and holy. If it weren't for God's justice, there would have been no need for mercy or Christ's sacrifice. None of us are as holy as Christ to question God as to why He abandoned us for a moment. Even Job couldn't understand that God was using adversity to test his faith. Most of us behave like Jonah who hated God for sparing Ninenveh. God's justice is tied into His mercy. As saints we need to start understanding our Heavenly Father better.
