Indian government has abrogated Article 370 that grants Jammu and Kashmir special status. The President of India has signed an order that annuls this special status granted to the Himalayan state in 1947 effective immediately. The state is also set to be divided into two Federal territories. I would say that this is a great day for Indian democracy as all Indian states and people will have equal rights.
