Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he saw the hills full of horses and chariots of sure all around Elisha.

In this verse Elisha's servant was paralyzed with fear when he saw the vast armies of the enemy. The Apostle Peter was terrified when the waves threatened to capsize their boat (Mark 4:38). Little did he know that the Master of the universe was right with him (Mark 4:37-39).

The next time life threatens to overrun you, ask God to open your eyes. For greater is He who is in you than the one in the world (1 John 4:4).
