Pray for wisdom and strength to be given to church leaders, especially those who stream services online. Recently, a radical group filed ‘complaints of blasphemy’ towards a pastor in Jakarta for ‘insulting’ comments he is reported to have made during a Sunday service.

As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, let’s remember the worldwide Body of Christ in places that are hostile to the gospel such as in Indonesia.

Pray that the recent incident of disruption at a house church in Surabaya does not become a catalyst for further intimidation of local believers. A similar incident was reported to have taken place in the city in March.

Remember in prayer the families of six believers who were brutally martyred in 2022, as the anniversary of their deaths at Christmas approaches. Pray for the bereaved who are still mourning their loss.
