Prayers For Our Persecuted Family.
Sometimes it can be difficult to know what to pray for our persecuted family so we produce a daily prayer shield which gives a specific need that you can pray for each day. You can see today’s prayer, plus those for the last 6 days, below. You can also sign up to receive our Email Prayer Alert which we send out whenever we become aware of a specific and immediate situation which requires urgent prayer.

Pray for Pastor Pawan Kumar’s house church in Jammu and Kashmir state’s Kathua district in India. A mob invited journalists to record their raid on a worship meeting and, when police were called, they held the Christians responsible for the disturbance.

Please pray for five pastors in India – in addition to Shayam and Nandu (yesterdays prayer) – who are believed to be in prison in Uttar Pradesh: Shakeel Abraham, Vijender Rajbar, Rajesh Rajbar, Abhisaik Rajbar and a pastor called Ramchand.

Pastor Shayam Sundhar was detained in India under the anti-conversion laws of Uttar Pradesh state in September. He has been threatened many times by local extremists. His bail applications have also been denied. Pray for his release.

Pray for Pastor Nandu Nathaniel and his wife, Savita Singh, whom police in Uttar Pradesh state in India arrested and detained in October on forced conversion charges. Bail has been denied twice.

An anti-conversion Bill is being considered in Karnataka state, India: Christians in the state fear it will further limit religious freedom. Pray that the Bill will not be passed.

Pray that God will move in His mighty power to end the violence in northern Nigeria that has been targeted at Christians for many years.

Nigeria goes to the polls in 2023 when general elections are scheduled. Pray that political campaigning this year will not prove an excuse for greater religious persecution.
