Righteous plans

Proverbs 12:5 (NIV)

The plans of the righteous are just,

but the advice of the wicked is deceitful.

To make plans is not the same as storing up for ourselves treasures on this earth, provided those plans have been committed to the Lord. Often times we hear Christians say that they haven't planned anything as they are waiting for the Lord to return anytime soon. Although the Lord can return anytime, we can't be lazy like the Thessalonians and have to make righteous plans as the Holy Spirit prompts.
