Saved

1 Corinthians 15:2 (NIV)

By this gospel you were saved.

There is no other gospel under heaven by which a man shall be saved other than the good news that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the promised Messiah Who bore our sin and shame on the cross. No news or message can ever be more important than that. Any message that dilutes the divinity and humanity of Christ is fake and of the devil. Jesus of Nazareth was not 50% God and 50% man, but 100% God and 100% Man. The mystery of the gospel is that God became a Man, to be specific, the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us. This God-Man is the second Person in the Holy Trinity of the Godhead and is coequal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, and is the designated sin bearer for humanity. That is the gospel by which we are saved, that God became a human being to save us humans.
