Surviving sin

Psalm 57:4 (Berean Study Bible)

My soul is among the lions; I lie down with ravenous beasts

A saint is always surrounded by sin. Whether it's Sodom and Gomorrah or the present age of promiscuity and homosexuality, a saint is bombarded by sin and sinners. Often that sin is condoned and encouraged by entire governments like the liberal administration poised to assume office. How can we believers survive that onslaught of sin on our families? King David was frequently persecuted by his nemesis, King Saul. In such times David frequently poured out his heart to God. Prayer is not just about seeking answers from God but communing with Him. Fellowship with God through prayer is one of the biblical ways of keeping ourselves pure in an ungodly world.
