Truly valuable

Mark 8:36 (NASB)

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?

These sobering words of the Lord should be a wake up call to all of us. It's so easy to be engrossed in our routines and even in our quest for holiness that we can easily forget that which matters the most, an eternal relationship with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
