Put your hope in God

To put our hope in someone one has to be absolutely certain of the infallibility of the one we trust. Our inability to put our hope in God for a better tomorrow is not as much a lack of faith as it it of trust. We cannot put our trust in God unless we believe that God is absolutely good and absolutely reliable. The slightest doubt about God's goodness and nature will cause us to put our hope in ourselves, our friends or even the world around us. Unless a man absolutely believes in the goodness and character of God, he will never put his hope in Him.
