Matthew 9:33 (NASB)

Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.

The blasphemy and the tragedy of the Pharisees is that they had seen the miracles and yet did not believe. It's one thing to ask for evidence and it's an entirely different matter to refuse to believe the presented evidence. The Pharisees were given plenty of evidence about the divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ for over three years. Yet they callously dismissed that evidence as fake. They attributed those miracles to the power of Satan and not the power of God. A soul that has reached that final and irrevocable conclusion can not be saved. There are certain things that God can not and will not do. God can not and will not save someone who refuses to believe He is God. When a man concludes that the only good in the universe is evil, then there is no goodness left to save him. All that soul has left is evil. The Pharisees saw a demon possessed man in Jesus. Who do you see? The Pharisees called the Son of God a blasphemer. What say you?
