Devastating drought in Kenya.

As you’ve maybe already heard, Kenya has been facing an intense and prolonged drought. I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to let you know that the situation is not improving.

Across the entire country of Kenya, an estimated 2 million households are being affected. This drought has been declared a national disaster.

The below-average rainfall is undermining crop and livestock production. The Kenyan people need food assistance, water for people and livestock, veterinary services for livestock, expansion of irrigation systems and malnutrition screenings.

Please pray for:

• God’s intervention — that he would bring rain.

• Children and families who are hungry and thirsty.

• Caregivers who have lost their ability to generate income.
