Honest lips

Psalm 21:2 (NIV) And have not withheld the request of his lips. God never rejects our requests. A saint who is in communion with God only asks the Lord for those things that glorify Him. As we begin to pray, we ask the Lord for all sorts of things, some in His will and some not. But as we mature in prayer, our hearts and lips will begin to utter God's will, His desires and plans for us. To our amazement, as we speak His will all the other things that we have forgotten to ask for ourselves are automatically added to us. That is how we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness first.
