Release International Prayer Shields, Iran

Children’s Prayer Sheet

It’s not only adults who can pray for our persecuted family. Every month we produce a prayer sheet aimed specifically for children. Each sheet has specific activities and prayers which will help children learn more about how persecution affects children in other countries. You can visit our Children’s Prayer Sheet page here.

Continue to pray for prisoner of faith Naser Navard Gol-Tapeh, serving a ten-year jail sentence in Iran. He has been in poor health but parole has been denied.

Pray for a prisoner amnesty so Iranian Christians detained on spurious charges related to their faith will be freed.

Pray for Fariba Dalir who had her application for conditional release or leave from prison denied recently in Iran. She is serving a two-year sentence.

Abbas Souri and Maryam Mohammadi were arrested in Iran in 2020. They were fined, given a two-year travel ban and sentenced to compulsory exile from Tehran. Pray that God will go with them in exile.

Pray for Anooshavan Avedian who was recently refused a retrial in Iran. He was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment for ‘propaganda’ against Islam, and a further ten years’ deprivation of social rights (eg job opportunities).

Pray that the harsh eight- and two-year sentences handed down in Iran to Christian couple Sara Ahmadi and Homayoun Zhaveh will be reduced. He has advanced Parkinson’s disease.

Pray for an Iranian Christian couple Sara Ahmadi and Homayoun Zhaveh who were detained in Evin Prison in August. They were sentenced to eight and two years in prison respectively for house church activities – but their imprisonment had been deferred.
