Always "Yes"

2 Corinthians 1:20 (Berean Study Bible)

For all the promises of God are yes in Christ.

We often wonder if God wants to give us what we ask of Him. As saints we need to understand that God doesn't say yes and then no in the same breath. God's yes to blessing will always be a yes in Christ and His no to sin will never change either. Another reason for confusion is a lack of thanksgiving. If the Lord's promises have been fulfilled in our lives, we should be quick to praise and thank Him for them and not just take Him for granted.

This past year I'm thankful to the Lord for my salvation, His Holy Spirit in me, my job, health, my girlfriend and her children, and a booming stock portfolio. Claim and count your blessings as well, saints.
