As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Commitment is more than mere words, it's a lifestyle. Joshua uttered these words after a lifetime of service. Most people would either be disllusioned or dejected by then. But, Joshua was still ablaze for the glory of God. Unlike the pious utterances by most, Joshua's words echoed a lifetime of commitment to the Lord.
