Encounter

John 4:26 (Berean Study Bible)

I who speak to you am He.

All the great visionaries and pioneers had life changing moments that led them on their path to greatness and glory. Moses had an encounter with God in the burning bush that transformed him from a lowly shepherd in Midian to the deliverer of Egypt. Saul of Tarsus had an encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus that changed him instantaneously from a vindictive Pharisee to the Apostle of grace. Many people do not believe God because they have never experienced His omnipotence or grace. The Samaritan woman was in search of happiness and love, and had tried many failing relationships. She ultimately found the satisfaction she needed in Christ. A single encounter with Jesus of Nazareth is enough to eternally transform a person.
