Acts 22:8 (Berean Study Bible)
I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.
It may be inconceivable that a saint can persecute Christ. One of the ways we persecute the Lord is by stubbornly trying to do God's will our way. In Acts we see Paul arresting Christians because he sincerely believed that they were infidels and that it was God's will to punish them. Likewise, a Christian can be so caught up in doing God's work their way that they actually end up hurting the body of Christ and indeed, Christ Himself.
