Scaling heights

mukkin

Habakkuk 3:19 (NIV)

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to scale heights.

A deer is known not only for its gracefulness but also it's ambition and ability to scale mountains. Like a goat, a deer is both ambitious and diligent. Unlike a goat which is coarse, a deer is elegant and graceful. In the Bible goats were always used in conjunction with carnality while sheep/deer with regenerated saints. When God gives us a vision and a task, do we go about doing that in our strength or His? Are we goats or deer? I pray that we're His faithful deer/sheep. Amen.
